ANSWERS: Water Collector: Tori filled the 7-gallon bucket then poured it into the 4-gallon jug, leaving 3 gallons behind. She then dumped out the 4-gallon jug and poured the 3 gallons into it. Next, she refilled the 7-gallon jug, poured 1 gallon into the 4-gallon jug, and was left with 6 gallons; Rectangles Galore!: There are as many as 90 rectangles, all answers between 1 and 90 are valid; Tori’s Trees: The pattern is multiply by 2, subtract 3, so the next plot should have 11 trees; Patchy Equation: 5 x 8 – 2 = 38 or 8 x 5 – 2 = 38.
